In short: if the pilot decides that conditions are not suitable on the morning, your flight does not take place. You can then move your flight to another date or receive a refund, made within 3 days.
Why flights are sometimes cancelled
A balloon has no engine: it moves with the wind. Strong or gusty wind, poor visibility or unstable weather make a flight unsafe. The decision is made on the morning itself, based on the actual conditions — never in advance and never for commercial reasons.
Your options after a weather cancellation
- Reschedule to another available date during your stay.
- Get a refund of the amounts paid, within 3 days.
How to plan your trip
Book your flight for one of the first mornings of your stay. If the weather cancels it, you will still have time to fly on another day.
Cancellations by the guest
These rules are different and only concern your 25% deposit: full refund if you cancel 7 days or more before your flight, 50% between 4 and 6 days, no refund 3 days or less before. Date changes follow the same rules, but contact us — if we have availability, we can often move your flight free of charge.
