How much does a hot air balloon ride in Marrakech cost with Sky Balloon?
The Sunrise Flight costs €79 per person. A Private Balloon, reserved for your group only, costs €3,600. You pay a 25% deposit online to confirm your date (€19.75 per person, or €900 for a private balloon) and the remaining 75% on the morning of your flight.
How does payment work?
When you book, you pay a 25% deposit online to secure your date. The 75% balance is paid on the morning of the flight. The balance can be paid in cash or by card.
Can I book a private balloon?
Yes. The Private Balloon reserves the entire balloon for your group — ideal for proposals, anniversaries or families. It costs €3,600 for up to 16 guests.

What time does the balloon flight start?
Balloons fly at sunrise, when the air is calmest. Hotel pickup is between 5:00 and 5:30 am, depending on where your hotel or riad is in Marrakech. We confirm your exact time the day before your flight.
How long does the experience last?
Plan for the whole morning. The flight itself lasts 40 to 60 minutes depending on the weather, and the full experience, from pickup to drop-off, takes 4 h 30 to 5 h.
Is breakfast included?
On the Private Balloon, a Moroccan breakfast is served in the basket during the flight. On the shared Sunrise Flight, a Moroccan breakfast is served after landing.
What should I wear?
Dress in layers: it is cold before dawn and warms up quickly after sunrise. Wear flat, closed shoes and bring a hat or cap. Avoid long loose scarves.

What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes before the schedule. If wind or visibility are not suitable on the morning, the flight does not take place. You can then move your flight to another date or receive a refund.
Is a hot air balloon flight in Marrakech safe?
Balloon flights only take place in suitable weather, which is decided on the morning of each flight.
Can children fly? Is there an age limit?
Children can fly from the age of 10.
Are there weight or health restrictions?
Balloon flights are not recommended for pregnant women, people with a fear of heights, or people with heart or respiratory conditions. If in doubt, tell us before booking and we will advise you honestly.

How do I book?
Choose your experience, select a date and the number of guests, enter your details and hotel, then pay the 25% deposit online. You receive a confirmation by email, and we contact you the day before with your exact pickup time.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Weather cancellations are always rescheduled or refunded. If you cancel: 7 days or more before your flight, your deposit is refunded in full; 4 to 6 days before, 50% of the deposit is refunded; 3 days or less before, the deposit is not refunded. Date changes follow the same rules — but contact us: if we still have availability, we can often move your flight free of charge.
Is hotel pickup included?
We pick you up and drop you back at your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Please be ready on time: the driver waits 10 minutes at most. When you book, simply give us the name of your hotel or riad; for riads deep in the medina we will confirm a nearby meeting point.
